Abstract
The paper shows the results of the economic assessment of damage to forest stands caused by wild ungulates in a case study in Tuscany. The work is based on previous analyses of policies and prevention costs related to wild animal activities. It is important to underline all the factors involved in order to help the public stakeholders during decision planning strategies. From this point of view this work can be extended to the analysis of financial aspects and economic impacts related to different planning strategies.
