Abstract

Degree courses of the Faculty of Agriculture of Florence in wildlife management Legislation on wildlife provides for wild animal population management and interventions to upgrade forest territory, enhancing land with wildlife vocation and safeguarding those areas specifically assigned to agricultural and forest productions. To that end, the set of rules recall at various times the figure of a skilled technician, able to plan and program the necessary interventions to manage the interactions between human activity, wild animal populations and forest environment. The present speech is aimed at presenting the formative supply in faunal sector of the Faculty of Agriculture of Florence. It also aims at recalling the reasons determining the need to develop an integrated approach for the management faunal-forestry. This will make the contents of the different formative pathways more topical and qualified. The current offer of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Florence is examined, outlining the need of an integrated approach between forest management and wildlife management.
