Abstract

Harvesting of dead standing trees, in Quercus ilex coppice stands damaged by fire, does not seem a guarantee for the best post-fire regeneration, expressed by the stem number per m2. The study case report not significant differences in the density of regeneration and that the not immediate harvesting of damaged tree.
