Abstract

This study is the second of a series of reflections about Forest typology wihich are aimed at highlighting the contents of the most important scientific works about the same Tipology written by Italian scholars from the beginning of the XXth Century on. It refers, in particular, to the second half of the XXth Century and it outlines the further developments of the Forestry field as well as its employment in the forest management procedure, with reference to the European Mediterranean Forest considered in its
widest meaning.
