Abstract

Recent years have seen a decrease in the number and surface burned by forest fires. On the other hand, their effect have become worse due to the variation of environmental scenarios. It is possible to implement fire-fighting management and, in particular, prevention and reconstitution through systemic silviculture. Its theoretical criteria permit correct actions in the vast range of interactions between fire and woodland.
