The Vallombrosa «Silvomuseum»: forest regulation plan for the Benedictine Monks fir stands

Abstract

For the conservation of the cultivation and management techniques of the Vallombrosa fir stands, a forest regulation plan has been prepared following the criteria and methods adopted in the preceding plans by the Florence Forestry School. The plan prescribes clear felling and artificial regeneration.
