Abstract

A review is presented on studies carried out by various authors on the phytopathological problems of Vallombrosa Forest; problems deriving from the presence and activity of diseases and pest (insects in particular) which are linked to silver fir stands by a generic or obligate relation. Authors dea1 in detail with the behaviour and damage of species which at the moment appear to be most involved in the decline phenomena.
