Abstract
Despite it has been known for a long time that both male and female flowers can occur on the same plant, no data are available about specific areas or flowering seasons for cosexuality in English yew. This article aims to confirme cosexuality in Taxus baccata, providing a specific site and time indication to contribute a better future knowledge of the phenomena. Climate in a specific and unknown period preceding flowering has been thought to be the cause of the «anomalous» flowering.
