Abstract
In Italy, in the first half of twentieth century Aldo Pavari’s researches have been very important to relaunch studies over biological and ecological subjects of forest trees. In this paper their researches are examined by emphasizing and exploring the scientific results and the activities to spread knowledge on these species from issues to arboreta.
