Abstract
Il 2022 è iniziato con alcune importanti novità per le foreste italiane. L’8 febbraio è stata definitivamente approvata la modifica agli articoli 9 e 41 della Costituzione, con l’inserimento dell’ambiente, della biodiversità e degli ecosistemi fra i valori primari tutelati nei principi fondamentali. Nella documentazione che ha supportato i lavori che hanno portato alle modifiche, si legge che “L’ambiente come valore costituzionalmente protetto (e come entità organica complessa: sentenza n. 378 del 2007) fuoriesce da una visuale esclusivamente ‘antropocentrica’” e ancora: “L’ambiente è qui inteso nella sua accezione più estesa e ‘sistemica’: quale ambiente, ecosistema, biodiversità”. Questa modifica raccoglie un sentimento ormai diffuso, cioè che l’ambiente e la natura hanno valore in sé e perciò la loro tutela è una priorità assoluta per la società.
